I'll be interested to see what you think of them. My only gripe about them is that the cable is way too long for what I need them for. It's 10 ft.

I got my headset. It's nice. 5.1 is weird... I'm not used to it and games sound different. I think the mic is a winner. It's very comfy but I need to get used to the ear padding. After years of my HD200, it'll take me a few days with this one but it's very light on the jaw which is nice.

I have one issue with it though and it's the blinking blue led on the remote control. I have no idea what's the point and I'm going to put tape over it.

Which headset is that? 5.1 does take time to get used to, and I find myself constantly fiddling with the channel volume controls on the cord, especially with games. Some games make the voices on the center channel really low (like Fallout 3) and I have to crank it, but then it makes the footstep sounds deafening. So "meh" to poor 5.1 optimization in some games, but an emphatic "yay!" to movies and music.

Yes, the 5.1 USB. I'm still learning about the volumes level and trying to adjust them to my liking.
